Casuals make you hate a boxer

    I'm still a fan of AJ, but the casuals really make me dislike him,
    If he wasn't hyped so much he'd be far more likeable, it's probably in a selfish way why I'm going off him, as he's more hyped and put in ridiculous fights then hyped even more!

    The same fans who have only heard of haye, fury and AJ.

    Mention golovkin, canelo, Ward, Kovalev and they're like who???

    Casuals pay the majority of the pay per view sadly.

    Without hype and promotion we wouldn't get half the money pouring into the "mega fights".

    I wouldn't say they make me hate any particular boxer, but they definitely enhance my pre-existing hatred of certain fighters.

    It doesn't effect who I like watching.... That's not exactly the point.

    Yea I've been casually watching boxing for 20 years.

    A kid at my boxing gym said that Golovkin was ducking Canelo because he wanted to protect his 0. :lol:

    All the racists and nationalists in boxing I hate more. I know of the casuals you are talking about but that's a necessary evil. Only thing to do is to educate them while they are paying attention. Boxing is deep with potential stars.

    You are paying too much attention to people that dont matter. I dont give a rats ass what casuals think of any fighter. I rate a fighter based off what he does in the ring, who he fights, how often he gets in the ring, etc.

    I am a fan of Lomachenko since early 2012, i've watched all his wsb and pro fights, and the amateur fights on the internet, but people are going crazy on him, and that is really bad because they are making threads like "is loma tbe?", "can loma beat duran?", and thinks like that, is really bad

    I don't understand why people let other people's views on someone change their own opinions on that particular person.

    It is for this reason why I hate hardcore fans more than the casuals.

    You should enjoy the hype AJ gets. Believe it or not, boxing needs it. Do you want the sport to become a dull died off leftover, where the TV budgets are low and press conferences are in small rooms, the empty arenas, etc?

    Hype enables you to have an enjoyable night sitting down in your home watching boxing.

    I hate when you finally meet someone that says they watch boxing and then they say, remember when Tyson faught George foreman? that was a good fight. I get stuff like that all the time. I don't even get that upset anymore,i don't even bother try to explain shi* anymore.sometimes I agree and say some dumb shi* back like how about when sugar ray faught roy jones?nowthat was a great fight
