Casuals think Canelo vs Golovkin is very competitive which is GREAT

You guys make some of the dumbest and most basic threads sometimes. Your simple ass opinion doesn't require it's own thread. Is there a question here? A spark for debate? A point you wanted to make? Or are you just sharing this random ass thought you conjured up mid-jerk session?

 

Yes GGG would get a huge lift from crushing a high-profile mega-star opponent like Canelo: - which make no mistake about it, he would do. Canelo would be destroyed, and probably not win a round.

 

It's also great for those of us who bet on the fights. Like Khan's popularity made the odds an affordable 1/5, so will Canelo's popularity make the odds on GGG similar or even closer, though it's a fight Golovkin should be favoured 1/15. The boxing public is often so dumb, and the bookies have to fall in line with it if the money's coming in or perceived to come in on Canelo.

 

And what do you say if Canelo somehow beats and exposes GGG?

 

This fight is huge thanks to a number of reasons. A good while ago Oscar talked about letting this fight marinate, well it certainly has. The casuals think this fight is a fight so are getting excited and are ready with their credit cards. We know this fight is not a fight it is guna be a bit of a 1 sided beating, well most of us do. But i think we all wana see it anyway. So we are ready with our credit cards too.

Canelo is Oscars little cash cow, even though everybody at GBP knows Canelo loses, and im my opinion Alverez himself knows that, i cant see a bigger cash payout than this. So drop the belt with no payday or lose the belt in the ring with one of his biggest paydays.

 

Oscar thinks its NOT a good matchup for Cancelo. He said numerous times Cancelo will take it "when the time is right".

 

so if its such a huge opportunity for ggg to become a crossover star...maybe even a "MEGA STAR"...will ggg be cool with 155 if canelo asks for it?

Lemiuex was a far greater threat to GGG than Canelo is and David wasn't ever in the fight.

This is a terrible mismatch. Im not into watching one sided beat downs but for being such a sissy boy im ready to see Glovkin turn this guy into chops now.

 

The casuals are the guys that think this will be a one sided GGG blowout. Canelo is a very solid fighter, nothing truly special but still a huge step up in competition for Golovkin. I favor GGG but it won't be easy.

 

And GG fanboys think it's a mismatch witch it's very funny and dumb especially since GG hasn't beaten any top elite all his career
