This post proves to me you are not really a Manny fan. More like a Floyd fanboy.

I'm a fan of Manny and I personally don't like his catchweights at all, and I'm not even gonna try to defend them.

But then you sit here with that "guess that makes him... welterweight" as to defend Floyd. Wtf is that?

At least Manny comes in at the agreed weight, and using your own logic, both fighter will be coming in at 151, that makes them jr middles so it's ok. :nut Floyd's move was much worse.

Which Mayweather agreed to. Despite the fact he has weighed more than 147 in only one fight. That was against De La Hoya @ 154. He weighed 150 for the fight. He has only weighed as much as 147 for two of his fights.

Rather or not Pacquiao has real concerns Mayweather agreed to this.

Rather or not Mayweather has real concerns about Pacquiao using PEDs/HGH is not the point. Negotiations are give and take. Mayweather was wiling to give Pacquiao the fine. Even though his typical weight at welterweight is 146.
I know you'll point to the Marquez fight as "proof" that Mayweather will cheat by weighing over 147. It would not have made a difference if Mayweather came in at 144 or 146 the result was going to be the same. I would concede that Marquez might have won two more rounds. The result is still a dominant Mayweather win.
The reason that Pacquiao wanted this as part of the contract was to give him confidence going in to the fight. The reason Mayweather wanted drug testing on both Pacquiao and him self (A point that gets lost on some people.) is to give him confidence going in to the fight as well.
The difference hear is that Mayweather has been willing to give and take while Pacquiao has only been willing to take.

Not true. Margarito can even make it at 150 lbs.

"...and 150 is no problem for Antonio. The last time he came in to camp, he was 12 pounds over where he had to fight, which was 154. Two weeks before the fight, he was already on weight" Garcia (Margarito's trainer) said. "So he had no problem making that weight. So he will be a very strong fighter in there against Manny Pacquiao."

Pac shouldn't be asking for catch-weights when they are for belts, no matter how stupid the sanctioning bodies are, but to be honest the one catch-weight fight he had it didn't seem to be a big factor, and it doesn't look like it will be in this fight.

I don't think it's a big deal either way but because its such a small and unimportant but ugly aspect to the legacy of the matchups I wish they weren't there.

Yea, but based on this argument...145lbs is also within the WW limit so I guess that's ok? And 151lbs is within the JMW limit. So don't you think you just contradicted your dumbass self?
