    Right.

If your the A side you can ask for anything....

    Pillow glove...weight draining...small ring...personal judges(I am firm but fair)...etc,

what?!! :rofl was Floyd meant to go to Marquez was he?? dont be so ******ed. Floyd had already been fighting at welter or above for atleast 4 fights. Of coarse Marquez was gonna go to Floyds weight. :patsch

Oh and Marquez certainly wasn't complaining about fighting at 147 when he nearly took Pac's head off at that weight.

And the least he could do is honor the catchweight.

if Floyd agreed to a CW and then decided not to even try to make it, what was the point of suggesting it? it wouldn't hurt him to drop those 2 extra lbs just to do the honorable thing, but of course Floyd is the A-side, and agreements and contract clauses don't apply to him

Catchweights will ALWAYS put one fighter at a disadvantage. Regardless whether they agree on it or not. Coming up in weight is easier then going down. Both Mayweather and Pacquiao have been at an advantage for all their fights.

    Catchweights are immoral.

The nontraditional weightclasses are catchweights anyway, and are themselves immoral.

How about Pacquiao dragging De La Hoya down to 147 where he hasn't fought at in years? Or making Cotto come down to 145? Or fighting Margarito at 150?

Pacquiao and Mayweather know what they're doing. They make guys come up or down, while they still fight at their comfortable weight.

I have mentioned in a similar thread that both Pac and Floyd deserve to take criticism for the CW BS they've come up with to help them win fights

Are you saying that Pac should have moved up 3 divisions instead of 2 against Oscar?

Let's say that they lose their catchweight fights instead of winning. would you critizise Canelo or Margarito just the same?

Every "junior" and "super" weight title is a catchweight so what you going to do about it?

I'm saying they shouldn't have even fought. Oscar retired right after, not because Pacquiao made him, but because he was way past his prime. He was done. He was "old" and drained.
