Spence is both more accomplished and has been more dominant over a higher level of opposition.

I see where this is going with Taylor. He's becoming dangerously close to getting quite overrated.

He's not in Spence's league, and Spence (at least the old Spence) would give Taylor a cruel beating.

If Prograis could destroy Taylor's face, what in the world do you think Spence would do?

I agree. One critique of Taylor could be his 'world class' wins haven't really been dominant but Spence has been similar vs Brook/Porter

This is what separates Bud from others even when his competition has been crtitcised, it's the way he beats people. I don't see Spence much different from Taylor is this regard.

Spence isn't gonna be having a rough fight with Baranchyk, and Taylor isn't pitching a shut out over Mikey Garcia.

This is getting ridiculous. Taylor is in no way, shape, or form better than Spence.

Spence is just a better talent, and is better at every last facet of boxing.

Name one thing Josh does better. I'll wait.

Just like Bud would beat Spence Thurman and Porter.

About time he actually fights an elite fighter if he’s the P4P best.

    His resume is sub par

    What higher level of opposition?

And Taylor's face started deteriorating from round 7 after a head clash fecked his eye

Spence fave in terms of having a similar style but being bigger but IMHO he's not a superior fighter, if both at 140 same size it's not a gimme for Spence

Spence is a full division up and like Taylor big/strong for weight class but if Garcia was 2 classes below Taylor, Josh whoops him easy.

Even now, I'd Pick Taylor comfortably over Garcia

You're acting like Spence is special, he should have been stopping Mikey.

And considering how wide Porter throws, mixed with lack of true power he should have outclassed Porter. He didn't.

There's not the gap you are implying

I'm actually very grounded when it comes to Spence.

I don't think he's "special." You obviously have no clue what my definition of "special" is.

Duran, Robinson, Leonard, Jones, Whitaker, Floyd (at the lower weights), Pac, those are what I'd consider "special" fighters.

I never ever, ever, ever said Errol Spence was that class, or that he'd ever be that.

But he's better than Taylor. Would Taylor even BEAT Mikey Garcia and Porter? Nevermind stop them.

Spence would beat the brakes off Taylor.

But that's pre-accident Spence. We have to see if he's the same fighter.

That's all cool, I agree with definition of special but you're judging Taylor as a 140 fighter so beating Porter is irrelevant as division between them. But let's say Porter was a natural 140, I'd pick Taylor. And I'm convinced Taylor beats Garcia.

Spence had 2 divisions on him and didn't look as good as he should have.

Just my opinion. I'm honest about Taylor too, he doesn't beat Bud. He's not verging overrated though, if anything he's underrated

He's certainly not underrated right now. Especially not on this thread, considering no one is giving Ramirez a chance to beat him.

But Ramirez would be seen as nothing more than cannon fodder for Spence.

Again. I try taking fighters and place them equally in one division. Yordenis Ugas is considered a top 10 147? He had more competitive fight with Abel Ramos than Regis did, and he lost to Amir Imam who Ramirez beat. Ugas in turn gave Porter a good fight, see, I can use theory to prove my point too.

Ramirez losing easily at 147 vs Spence proves nothing. See above

Your point is taken. We'll just have to see how the future plays out.

At the PRESENT MOMENT, I would say Spence is a class above Taylor as a fighter. We'll see what the future brings, and take it one fight at a time.

I expect Taylor to outclass the one dimensional Ramirez.

I'm sure we'll chat post undisputed fight and if Taylor does make the move to 147
