Crude as they come that clown. Has no right to be in with someone like Catterall. Reminds me of a lad I used to play footy against, didn’t have a clue what he was doing himself, he genuinely didn’t know what foot he was. He was so bad he was very hard to deal with, that’s what I think Catterall was experiencing with him then. I saw him rocked by feather fisted Tom Farrell a couple of years ago, carefully matched. Think Catterall was boxing to the level infront of him, had numerous gears above to go to if need be. Is boring though.
Disagree there. Stood on the outside, looking petrified, doing nothing and then lunging in like a **** head in the pub once or twice a round.
Smith and Barker useless - if something surprising happens, their scripted notes fail them and they have no idea what to say.
It’s not his fault he was a level below. I thought he at least tried to close the distance, the problem is that when he did, he couldn’t set off because Jack is so tricky. Eubank tried going to body and head and ultimately the head clash was caused because he lunged in trying to force the issue. I don’t think it was an intentional butt, but it was clearly reckless.
Catterall is clearly talented and has skills but jesus Christ, he is brutal to watch. He's just an ugly, boring, boring fighter with zero appeal.
No, not intentional. Many below the level in fights but I just felt that was like someone in a different sport. Just looked like a complete novice against a good fighter. I don’t think he tried to close it much he just stood on the outside scared and lunged in. Never going to catch Catterall on the way in really, he’s very cautious. Bellew hitting nail on the head there. We must have watched the exact same fight. Literally I couldn’t have explained my feelings anymore perfect than he just has for me.
Main event lived up to most of our expectations, boring and dull. Never like to see fights stopped on accidental clash of heads but least it saved us all another 6 rounds of garbage.
What did Eddie Hearn say about William Crolla a year ago ? He could follow in his father's footsteps and become a world champion. Another talented boxer ruined by Matchroom due to wrong matchmaking. It really makes me sad to see so many talented boxers with promising careers being lost.
