He did what any great fighter should do. He gave him an IMMEDIATE rematch and put all rumors to rest.

Say what you want about a close decision. If a guy gives the rematch and wins it even more convincingly the issue is settled.

that all you took from that? or maybe you need some more time.
yeah he arguably lost that fight but you will agree that arguably losing to jose luis castillo is better then arguably losing to robin reid right?:think

But what about Floyd's best recent wins, would Floyd beat prime DLH at 154 ... I doubt.

Would Floyd beat Marquez going down to 135lb or how would do
Floyd from 135 times against Marquez who won Ring belt over there
so he would not cheat him on the weight in?

Would Floyd destroy Hatton at 140 in 2004 the same as he
destroyed Hatton at 147 in 2007?

I think Floyd would have no zero on his record if the above would happen.

I already agreed some posts ago that Castillo is the only one on Floyd's resume which cannot be equated by Joe's.

well, what about hatton and corrales, who beat castillo. who on calzaghe resume can compare to those fighters besides hopkins, who you've mentioned already?

Would JC beat the Roy Jones that tarnished James Toney's great SMW run in the 90's?

Would Joe beat the Hopkins that made Trinidad his lil beotch?

Would he have beaten the Eubank that TKO'd Nigel Benn in 90?

See the same could be said for your sorry fighter and as you see the time difference between these fighters prime and when they fought Joe is worse than your example with Floyd.

Hatton was fighting at 147lb limit where everybody knew he was struggling,
this win is no better that Joe's win over Eubank.

As Corrales, its clearly comparable to beating Kessler who was
unbeaten at that time and already unified champion.
You can't prove Corrales was better than Kessler at the time?

I totally agree, the wouda, coulda is not working but it is not working
for both Calzaghe and Mayweather so lets stick to the actual fight at the actual time.

hatton was at 147, agreed but he was still in his PRIME. can you say the same about eubank? and hatton stuggled at 147 because the opponets were too big for him. collazo was a full fledged welterweight. mayweather isnt. mayweather is, more or less, hatton's own size. a bout at 140 would have rendered the same result.

both and undefeated corrales and an undefeated kessler are about the same. you're right but, judging their enitre careers, you have to give the edge to corrales.

Corrales best wins are against casamayor, castillo, and frietas.
what are kessler's best wins? andrade? beyer? mundine?
you really want to compare their best wins?
