sums up calzaghe haters really. robin reid isn't a name, he isn't american, doesn't stop the fact that he was a ****ing good fighter. name isn't everything.

joe will smash hopkins, but i'm sure the excuses will still flow....

Calzaghe is the name, that is the fatal mistake you are making

The other guy is just there to make up the numbers. To get his gloves signed, to show his grandkids. To get a boxing lesson, that he can learn from. Maybe a few tips from Enzo afterwards

Well I hope you'll be betting on Joe or bankruptcy awaits

I've watched every single fight Joe Calzaghe has fought, and Kessler was the best. Unfortunately he's become a euro bum since that loss

It's going to be even worse when these Americans lose to a slapper

    Slappy White vs Blacky Cheat

    Easily marketable

Going to be boring for the enlightened amongst us mind. Kessler had us slightly worried, the old man thats thrown 20 punches in his last 5 snoozefests combined hasn't got a chance

Might get good odds on it though. I'll be rich, you'll be bankrupt

    hopkins-taylor?

were those the fights where hopkins wouldn't know workrate if it raped his mum then spat in his face? yeah thought so.

the fact that he's conned you lot into thinking he's got something to give at 42 with wins over tarver :rofl and krispy kremes wright is laughable. get prepared for a beating, X is getting taken to school :smoke

then X can look back at his fabulous career, beating up welters, his incredible trilogy with robert allen, jermaine taylor legally adopting him and his rise to position of janitor at GBP.

There is a reason PBF is the pound for pound champion. Apparently you are forgetting what the term pound for pound means.

antonio tarver is one level above buster douglas really. right place, right time, caught an aging, drained RJJ just right. i'd back a number of fighters between 160 and 175 to have beaten him, calzaghe, dawson, kessler and pavlik.

....and b-hop has been fighting welters and nobodies all his life, you want me to give him credit for beating up DLH? do me a favour.

...and i'm not even touching your 'joe could beat a legend like PBF', you lose all credibility with that statement. you will lose all your money, and i shall laugh heartily.

...and whilst kessler and joe have been fighting nobodies nard has been fighting krispy kreme addicts, antonio 'right place, right time' tarver, jermaine 'i can't KO cory spinks' taylor :rofl , robert allen x11 and a bunch of welters.

LOLZ @ b-hops not having comfy management and fighting whoever is in front of him, he's promoted by GBP ffs!!! have you not seen some of the gifts in their fights this year? they love having the odds stacked in their boys favour, gloves, ring size etc eg. DLH-PBF.

bloody hell, can you imagine dlh-calzaghe at 168? come on now, that would be ****ing brutal. it would mean nothing, zilch. wins over brewer and lacy are far bigger at 168 than dlh, and both are much bigger threats in that division you dolt. but you've already admitted you think it's all about the 'names'.

tito never campaigned above 160., again it would mean **** all at 168, he'd be nothing but a name on JC's resume.

toney has been fighting at cruiser and HW since joe won his first strap at 168.

tarver was too busy losing to johnson and fighting nard whilst joe was unifying the SMW division.

you see if you actually use your brain you might figure these things out yourself instead of being a blind hater. :good

you're ****ing deluded, i give you valid reasons why fights with those guys never happened and that's the best you can do? you really think if joe beat DLH it would be considered an achievement?

yes, when they fought each other, they are both elite fighters, with superb skills and they put it all on the line to discover who is best. what more do you want than the number 1 and 2 of the division going head to head to crown the undisputed?

calzaghe did it v lacy when every man and his dog said he'd get beat, reminds me of tito-hopkins, yet that was an amazing win apparently.

he also did it with the huge step up to fight a legend, chris eubank. whilst eubank was post prime (not shot) calzaghe was still green.

he pulled out through injury and personal issues, not because the risk was too great you fool. it doesn't strengthen your arguement to make bull**** up ya know.

he's already proved what an elite fighter he is, the guy won't be around for much longer, i pity those who refuse to accept his greatness and embrace a magnificent fighter whilst he's still around. something i have learnt to do with floyd who i was uneasy with to start.
