not bad for just 1 fight with a guy most americans havent heard of

hopefully this wasnt just because its new and ppl were curious, hopefully a new audience emerges and stays consistent

The fact it retained 90% of the lead-in from the basketball game is actually pretty damn impressive.

I think them maintaining 90 percent of the basketball game is a big accomplishment.Regardless they got a good fight with a good backstory on LSC.

Not bad considering good ufc cards usually are around 2 million views on Fox

Shows have been cancelled with more viewers than that.

More promotion and household names on the card will do ok.

This was an afternoon show with no promotion. Ratings are good.

According to Steve Kim of MaxBoxing, the 1.3 rating is a bigger rating than anything HBO or Showtime televised this year (boxing wise).

    That's pretty impressive.

fine, but CBS is free unlike HBO & Showtime.

maybe next time, if there is a next time, they'll show someone heavier than 118

I don't see what the complaints are about. Relatively unknown fighters on CBS with little to no promotion at all and a million people tuning in to watch what turned out to be a solid action-filled card makes me more than satisfied.
