It looks to me as if this has all been loosely planned months ago.

It's all part of "Plan Trilogy".

They're angling for the Cotto retirement fight and a Cinco de Mayo rematch.

It's all about maxing the $$$$. No time to sulk about screwy scoring. BJS would be nice to get that last piece of the title, but he's busy angling for that Khan superfight lmao

They're not getting the Canelo rematch in May. That's not happening. Bumlovkin should get some mandatories out of the way and plan for the Canelo rematch in September. He should also stay away from Charlo...

Golovkin has been the consumate professional throughout his career, you think he would sell out like that? I want to believe it but I just can't.

Saunders for the title or Cotto for the paycheque.

No point sitting on his couch doing nothing for 8 months

So when does Bumlovkin become Golovkin? Who does he have to beat? He just beat Golden Boy!

Not sure why Abel would allow GGG to even consider a rematch after that robbery. You know what, if GGG decides to take the rematch with all the signs of a robbery in place and he goes through with it. He's bringing that on himself., and he's a sellout.

Cotto would have no chance at all.

It's all part of being a professional.
    Professional boxing is a business.

Golovkin and his camp were floating the trilogy idea for weeks, months in fact, perhaps longer.

I'm not saying the fighters didn't give an honest effort in the ring, maybe they did. But I think GGG knew he needed a KO to avoid a draw, and he knew the draw was a great start for the trilogy.

It's all money in the bank. And the fight was entertaining. That's professionalism.

Saunders or nothing, getting sick of this coward getting passes, fighting Cotto would be pathetic!!!!

Team GGG are already angling the Saunders wants too much money BS, what happened to all of the belts

I prefer if he fights Saunders in December but I doubt Saunders will fight him. Saunders wants to milk that belt as long as he can. And as for Cotto, he did ask to fight the winner of GGG vs Canelo. But I prefer Charlo over Cotto.

Saunders already signed the last contract and GGG got cold feet and ducked?

Looks like Billy has the history on his side in this one and GGG has a history of ducking and dodging

Last fight Bill would have got a fatigued GGG, next fight he will get an old corpse.

GGG clearly can't make the weight healthy any more every fight he looks more and more gaunt and auschwitz like.

GGG needs to move up or retire tbh

You are right! I am sure GGG is really afraid of Saunders. Petrified even. No one wants to fight BSJ. Most avoided boxer at MW that's why he is calling out Khan. I just hope Jacobs, Canelo and Charlo stay away from BSJ for their own good.
