CBS Sports: Akhror Muralimov vs. Derric Rossy RBR

Won 9 out of 10 rounds? Most had it very close, either a draw or 6-4 - 7-3 regardless of how they scored it. It was a close fight, Muralimov looks to me like he doesn't have much of a future.

 

Not a good fight at all but I've seen worse.

Agree that Rossy has had some success lately.

Hanks and Muralimov are nothing special at all but by Rossy beating both of them and giving Glazkov a lot of trouble he has put together an ok run the past year.

He's probably gotten himself into position for a slightly more meaningful fight which isn't bad for Rossy at this point in his career.

This fight had me thinking, on a good night could Rossy outbox and decision Ruiz? :think

I think so, but there's also a chance he would get bombed out early.. Would be an interesting fight to see.

 

I wasn't thinking that meaningful of a fight. I'd guess chances of Rossy getting a shot at Wladimir are zero.

A fight between Rossy an Wlad's personal stalker Shannon Briggs would be interesting though.

I think Glazkov can be a good fighter with the right dedication, and if he sheds some of his bad amateur habits. I think he's going to have a good performance against Cunningham that will more than make up for his bad performances against Rossy, and Scott.
