Battle of the outrageous haircuts.

 

Round 1

Hawkins is surprised and sent reeling as Gee opens up immediately with headshots, on the ball of either foot. Pressure by Gee, reaching in with right hooks. Counter hooks by Hawkins, calmly leaning back and resetting himself at mid-outer range. Body shots by Hawkins. 1-2 by Hawkins into the guard. Gee still coming forward, throwing big overhand lefts.

Commentators thought Hawkins righted the ship around midway and did enough in the last ninety seconds to give him the opener.

 

Round 2

Hawkins is working the left hook downstairs and 1-2's up top. Gee tackles Hawkins leaping into a clinch and they go down in a heap together. Up, time in. Hawkins is hurting Gee with body shots. Heavy left hook up top by Hawkins. Gee softly pelting Hawkins in front of the kidney with a light right hook. Looping right behind the head and left hook up top by Hawkins. Uppercut by Hawkins, stuffed on the forearms but quickly gathered in and shot back out without delay in straight form, landing. Short right hands by Hawkins on the way in and more left hooks on the body. Wild uppercut by Hawkins misses as Gee is rushing in with his own missing combo.

Round 3

Hawkins is hooking the body hard. Gee is standing off a pace away, diving in with overhand lefts. Awkward clinching and wrestling, pulling each other side to side in ring center. Right upper-hook by Gee, missing by miles. Hawkins is doubling a jab-feint into the air, circling away. Hawkins calmly picking his spots with jabs and long body shots.

Round 4

Hawkins is knocking Gee's head back with right hands over the top. Left hooks and floor-to-ceiling uppercuts by Hawkins at close range. Gee tired. Gee is slugging it out in the pocket with Hawkins and getting the worst of it - rocked often but not going down.
