Long right hands by Halili. Odamattey is wobbled, attempting to fend him off with a weak up-jab. Halili forces him into a corner, working both hands as he bulldozes him. Odamattey down. Halili keeps hammering down with the right hand and bracing with the left hook to hold Odamattey in place. Wobbled, down again, over.

Rob Brant vs. Chris Fitzpatrick, 10 rounds @ middleweight

 

Round 1

Fitzpatrick is circling to his left and trading jabs. Brant throws a right hand over the top, buzzing Fitzpatrick's hairline. Left hook on the sidestep by Brant. Fitzpatrick is ducking inside, deflecting a jab and right hand off the back of either arm. Brant is picking off Fitzpatrick's punches and countering sharply on the outside while tiptoeing clockwise. Quick left hook by Brant. Another one, reaching down low, grazing the inner lead knee of Fitzpatrick. Lunging right hand by Fitzpatrick, missing, countered with a sharp jab.

Round 2

Fitzpatrick is stepping in to meet Brant and jabbing with him. Lead uppercut and left hook from Brant, separating the guard, leaving a lane for the right cross which knocks Fitzpatrick back, nearly through the ring ropes. Fitzpatrick is up and bouncing around, shelling up, throwing stay-away jabs. Brant is drilling the 1-2 into the face, breaking through Fitzpatrick's defenses. Fitzpatrick pushes a jab out cautiously from a partial crouch, shoulders hunched, rigid and stiff. BIG 1-2-1-2 by Brant, stunning Fitzpatrick.

Round 3

Quadruple jab by Brant, aggressive, tapping his way inside, forcing Fitzpatrick to flee to the ropes. Brant lays a right down on Fitzpatrick's shoulder, partly caught on the arm. Left hook up top by Brant. Fitzpatrick is reaching with a wide, slow overhand right, falling in. Check left hook by Brant and Fitzpatrick is down hard. Waved off while struggling to his feet.
