It's going to be a good boxing weekend.. Caballero is fighting Jeffrey Mathebula of SOuth Africa ( 22wins 1 loss 12kos ) but there's not one notable name on his resume... BUt sometimes unknown fighters can be dangerous and im looking forward to it...

    ANy caballero fans here?

South Africans are always dodgy. Usually tough as nails. Looking at his record he has no other good South African names on their and they usually fight each other.

There are two name fighters, Mathebula has a win over former WBA interim bantam champ Julio Zarate in his last fight and a draw versus Malcolm Klassen in 2004, Klassen became IBF super feather champ after their fight and is now the mandatory challenger for that same belt again.

You must have a very high standard then as far as names on a resume are concerned.

Look at Zarate's two previous losses, he was up on two judges' scorecards against Monshipour before the KO and at least competitive against Sidorenko, two very big names in the bantam divisions.

Looks like you have alot of knowledge of the lower weight division unlike most ESB posters.. :thumbsup

Zarate fought well against MOnshipour prior to that KO but Monshipour himself never beat anyone at the elite level.. Only reason he gets some recognition is because his fight against Somsak Sithchatchawal was a FOTY candidate but neither of those guys ever made it to th world stage..
He fought well but at the end, he got knocked out by Monshipour..

Im not calling Zarate a bum but i do not see him as any kind of threat to the upper echelon guys.. He's a Telemundo/Azteca level fighter.

Molitor is a solid fighter himself.

Molitor just counldn't deal with that pressure. His team revealed their game plan, and it was right, but it just didn't work cause Molitor isn't that good offensively.
