Jhonny Gonzales is eyeing WBA 122lb champion Celestino Caballero after KOing Maurice Pastrana today. If this fight were to come off later in the year, who would win?

If Gonzales turns up 100%, i think he can stop him.

I think Gonzales has the skill and determination to beat Caballero. I really don't put Caballero up that high and will give hell to all the other boxers except for Marquez, Vazquez, and Gonzalez, who I think would beat him pretty handily.

I agree. I didn't see his fight today, but apparently he was very impressive and destroyed Pastrana. Hopefully he can get back to the top of his game, if he does he's a handfull for anybody.

Gonzales vs Marquez would be awesome.

its too bad cause Molitor and Caballero almost agreed to an IBF-WBA unification fight but their was a problem because in Ontario (which is a Canadian province) the commission requires same day weigh ins. Cabellero's manager said that for his safety they could not accept the same day weigh in, so they would have to fight somewhere else. Unfortunately Molitor is contractually obligated to fight his next fight in a Casino that is located in Ontario.

Would have been a good fight

btw Jhonny destroyed Pastrana but didn't look that good doing it. He tried to box from the outside but his punches are slow and innacurate. He got outboxed in round 1 and most of round 2 until he landed a left hook on Pastrana which was actually partially blocked but still hurt him which really shows how little punch resistance Pastrana actually has. After he landed that left hook Jhonny just started throwing a bunch of punches like an amateur. Most of them were dodged.

In round 3 once again Jhonny tried to box Pastrana from a distance but is missing alot of his shots. Gets countered from time to time. At the tail end of the round he decides to just rush in and let his punches go without regard to defence and thats he the only time he can actually do anything to score points.

In round 4 Jhonny starts to land his right hand regularly and eventually knocks Pastrana out.

Pastrana is like 5'3. really really short. He was obviously brought in there to lose as he got knocked out in 1 round by Gabi and knocked out a few months ago by Caballero. Pastrana tried to put up a fight but really he had no business in the ring.

    Marquez would destroy Gonzalez imo

Cabellero i don't know cause have never seen him fight yet
