    I can certainly understand the reasoning for people still wanting to see Garcia vs. Caballero (either just wanting them to settle their business, or being Garcia fans/Caballero haters who want to see him get beat up, or being Caballero fans enthusiastic about his chances of popping Garcia's cherry) and obviously Salido/Gonzalez/Ponce would all make for absolute wars...and Garcia vs. Gamboa is a fascinating styles clash...and Dib would be the "easiest" option if Garcia fans just want to see him pick up a title in a hurry and then start seeking out the other champs with a bit more clout to unify...but am I the only one who thinks that Garcia vs. John could be a FOTY candidate? :huh

    I would like to see Caballero vs John or Caballero vs Salido. I like Garcia I just think he will be here for awhile but for the other guys they don't have any time left...

    robert garcia's a pretty smart guy, a former fighter himself and as a result is very familiar with the boxing game and all of its aspects, and therefore I don't see him having his potential-packed little brother, fight for a title in indonesia or panama. i'd be surprised if he allowed little bro to go that route, simply because of the high chance of highly questionable judging in either of those countries.

    Well, when an anticipated fight falls through the next logical step is to discuss WHO NEX for each would-be participant. :bbb

    Also, there's a slim chance it still happens and an opportunity here for people to make an argument for why it should. (although it's an uphill argument, how going down to Panama for a shaky risk/reward ratio in front of no North American television audience whatsoever is better than...well, anything else - short of the option you and I prefer...going over to Indonesia for a shaky risk/reward ratio in front of no North American television audience whatsoever...:yep)

    Indeed, but if he's fighting Who Nex it wouldn't be as exciting as fighting Caballero.
    And wasn't Who Nex a heavyweight? Did he lose that much weight, or is Mikey planning a Toney diet? ;)

    from a styles standpoint, garcia-caballero is more interesting imo, but from an all out war standpoint, i'd go garcia-salido.
