Salido by KO. Chris John would also be knocked out. The only fighter at 126 who gives problems to Salido is Gamboa, with that movement..we already saw that fight too.
caballero has a great chin, he can take a good punch, and unlike juanma he will look to box carefuly and control with the jab and the odd flurry to please the fans, it would be a great fight.
Okay, let's not overrate Salido just yet... but stylistically I think he could give Caballero troubles, and a LOT. With that said, Cab handled the boxer-puncher in Barros rather well the 2nd time around, so there's a good chance he'd be too long and awkward for Siri. Rojas and John outboxes Salido easily, I'd put my money on both, where the Jhonny Gonzalez fight is pretty interesting as Siri is just so bigger physically, yet it takes one counter left hook and he gets KTFO. Bit too early for Mikey Garcia, but above a certain level Salido isn't as effective as people may think, Gamboa pretty much dominated him and could've knocked him out if he wasn't trying to disqualify himself. Funny that Orlando was some bum with an atrocious record when he knocked Gamboa down, but now he's beating the whole FW pack. When will people actually start watching fights to get familiar with the fighters?
I hope 'gives him problems' was mis quoted because Gamboa ***** slapped Salido all night long For the question at hand is a tough one. I'd pick Salido due to current form, however Caballero certainly has a good chance
I think Salido's pressure would prove too much for Caballero and along the way I can see Caballero hitting the canvas onwards to a Salido UD, id say about 117-111
I doubt Caballero holds up the whole fight to getting ripped to the body/eating an overhand right from Salido every so often. Salido by TKO in 9-11 while down on the cards.
Caballero is not consistent. One day he looks like **** against Litzau and the other day goes to argentina and beats Barros. i think Salido wins
