Hard to tell due to the awkwardness of Caballero's style which gave the most technical boxer (Molitor) and KO puncher (Ponce De Leon) headache, while some could get through.

If I had to throw a name out who'd I favor on paper, I'd say Caballero because he performed very well vs. his best opponents and Jeff Mayweather is working on his mistakes unlike Ismael Salas on Gamboa's. I'm remaining critical of Yuri until I see him going out with a gameplan, fighting smart, adapting to the opponents style and rthythm to come up with the right shots and break them down instead of relying just on reflexes and speed for 12 rounds.

Does Caballero's coming forward style favor Gamboa? Definitely, he loves aggressive fighters, but Pelenchin's reach is so long, Yuri might have troubles getting to Cab's chin. And what if he lands some bombs but nothing happens and Caballero keeps coming back with 100 punches per round? Will Gamboa be able to adapt, find a way to block everything, get inside smartly, work out of possible clinches and effectively outbox Caballero to win round after round? This kind of pro maturity is something I'm yet to see from the Cuban to be honest.

I chose draw. Most people are voting for Gamboa, but I don't think this is going to be an easy fight for him. He will have to work hard as Caballero will put the pressure on him from the get go. Gamboa likes a boxer to come to him, but Caballero's volume of punches are not that easy to counter against. Caballero was rocked a couple of times in the Yordan fight which tells me his chin is good but not great. But he is tall, and perhaps the tallest boxer Gamboa will have faced. He will try to keep Gamboa at bay, and with his volume of punches and variety of punches, he can do that for several rounds.

Gamboa is the better boxer with better technique and combinations, more crips punches and a lot more power. The question mark is can he deal with celestinos height and reach advantage and can he catch celestino early to turn the fight in his favor and negate celestinos reach. I dont know but i can see gamboa winning a split decision after hurting celestino a couple of times. But he wont be able to take him out do to taking him awhile to get used to celestinos volume punches and ackwardness.

I say this all depends on how much more technically sound Caballero becomes.

If his punches become straighter and his technique improves, so will his power and defense.

If he can have a hurtful jab it could be interesting.

So far, I have not seen Caballero take a big shot so I would not be able to say for sure how his chin holds up.

Gamboa breaks him down by the mid rounds, Cab crumbles under Gamboa's speed and power.

Nah he won't get dominated but I do see a Gamboa KO as the most likely outcome. With that said, I do believe that Caballero's chin is a bit underrated given some of the flush shots he took in his last fight. The guy he fough isn't Gamboa but he clearly punches hard and Caballero just took those left hooks over and over...:think
