To you JuanMa fans, just because Caballero lost tonight doesn't mean that JuanMa didn't duck him.

You simply can't afford to overlook any contender in this sport without running a significant risk of it biting you in the ass. This was the perfect example of a "trap fight"- Litzau's been knocked out before, Cab had great prospects on the horizon, the P4P buzz, and was the heavy favorite. The warning signs were cropping up that CC was looking past Litzau with the weight issues and were confirmed by how he fought tonight. Celestino's got nobody to blame but himself for taking this fight lightly.

Big respect and credit to Jason Litzau for dedicating himself to boxing and wanting the win enough to be more than just another opponent. Sometimes the favored fighter is there for the picking and the underdog can't pull it off because they never really planned on being more than just an opponent, either. Those are some of the most frustrating fights to watch from a fan's standpoint. Luckily, that wasn't the case tonight. The result was that Litzau and Caballero each got what they deserved, and we got to see a decent, if sloppy, scrap in the process.
