Cerdan's legacy is greater than Hopkins, including his heart

For his first defense, Cerdan returned to the States, where he fought Jake LaMotta in Detroit. Cerdan was knocked down in round one and his shoulder was dislocated, having to surrender after the tenth round. It would sadly be the last fight of Cerdan's life: A contract was signed for a rematch and Cerdan went to training camp for it, but while flying to the United States to fight the rematch, Cerdan's Air France flight, flown on a SuperConstellation, went down in the Azores and everybody in it died including the famous violinist Ginette Neveu (1919-1949). Days later, LaMotta expressed words of condolences, praising Cerdan as a human being.

The difference is Cerdan got up and gave Lamotta hell for 10 rounds with one arm, and Hopkins laid there and cried.

Bernard Hopkins never quit on his corner like Cerdan did against LaMotta. Not to metion that Cerdan's wild mood swings had their tool on Marlene and in himself.

Cerdan was a ****ing class fighter. It's no shame to Hopkins to be compared to Cerdan and no shame to Cerdan to be compared to Hopkins.

Yeah, it's not like Hopkins didn't fight through a shoulder injury before in his career or anything. Cerdan was a great fighter, Hopkins was greater.

Cerdan never had to rely on fouling, clinching, lunging, headbutting, lowblowing (what you guys call "ring generalship")....
He had more talent in his little finger than Hopkins has in his whole body, and i'm not even talking about one punch KO power and blinding handspeed.

Hopkins is a ****ing disgrace to boxing. Was anyone surprised he pulled that **** last night?

There's a simple formula I find really handy to gauge what is likely to happen with Hopkins' fights:

Alsation IQ + Racist bully + Same size opponent = Fake injury cry to the ref
Alsation IQ + Racist bully + Blown up little guy = Career best wins

Cerdan fought in the greatest middleweight era of alltime, the Greatest Era in boxing in period.

Cerdan fought mere Real TOP fighters than Hopkins could care to imagine.
Cerdan was a WW cum MW, Hopkins was/is ALWAYS was a L-HW
Cerdan fought LaMotta one armed for 8 and a half rounds, befor he could no longer go on!

Hopkins the L-HW fought, good fighters, not great, smaller fighters who moved up, or other men like him also at the end of their careers too and still lost. Bernard has spoiled more fights in the last 6 years than David Haye could be capable of.

and the only fight, that Hopkins deseves full marks for was against Kelly Pavlik, who in Cerdan's time might have been a good club fighter!!!

That's right, Hopkins never overcame adversity in his career.

Forget the fact that he overcame a similiar situation when he was body slammed by Echoles, fighting on with a dislocated shoulder over 10 YEARS AGO.

Not to mention the fact that he's 47 years old competing at this level, recently overcoming 2 knockdowns against Pascal.

This is ridiculous. Who are you to say anything?

What have you done that can compare to Hopkins acheivements?

You r the troll newbie, Cerdan had wild mood swings, problems with alcohol and Malene Dietrich just like LaMotta had. And he did quit against Jake, even Scorcese's movie portrays that ****.
