floyd, no doubt, straight lefts and rights. right hook, he is a sucker for it. he may have good defense, but, as u can see in his fights with mosley, jmm, the right is his enemy. it may work for him most of the time, but, i dont like it. he should keep his hands up and block with his hands and forearms. guys with marvelous defense like narvaez, he always keeps his hands up when countered up top. donaire had a tough time against him. floyd also likes to go back in straight lines leaving himself open to shots as his hands r out to the side. pac when pressured goes to the ropes as u saw in the margarito fight. roach kept telling him to get off the ropes

Pac has trouble with jabs more so if his opponent has lead foot position. Otherwise, he can either slip it while filling the space with his left straight, or counter it with a right hook. And yea, Cotto's been hurt plenty by uppercuts before, but he showed great improvement in correcting that liability of his stance/guard. Pacquiao himself can be pretty vulnerable to uppercuts up the middle of his guard if they're timed right when he pulls back.

    Its a combination of 2 things :

Timing and Bad defense ..Half the times people get open for shots is because they get lazy with their D .

Floyd's shoulder roll is designed to roll rights. It works for him the majority of the time, but it does look ugly when a right manages to get through as we saw early on in the Mosley fight. I don't think it's worth it to abandon the shoulder roll technique, which he's one of the all time best at using, when it allows him to neutralize and counter 95% of shots headed his way. A shot gets through it every now and then, but Mayweather has a good chin.

Mosley tried that body jab, body jab, and right hand up top **** in the later rounds of their fight. This time Floyd rolled the right and came back with his own short right.

    Here's the footage:

Sometimes he'll utilize his superior reach with them 26" arms by sticking them both out towards enemy lines as he's backing up to prevent the opponent's advancing and gaining ground.

floyd was a sucker for straight left down the middle, and left hook.

cotto is a sucker for a slow-ass uppercut and body blows.

tim bradley is a sucker for having a big shining head.

jmm is a sucker for a left straight.
