I thought I had seen everything on this forum, this is one of the worst cases of Glass Jaw denial I have ever seen atsch Khan has one of the worst chins I've seen in over 20 years of following boxing. This really isn't up for debate. The reason he hasn't lost recently is because he has been very carefully matched with handpicked, featherfisted opposition and has also been very inactive. Khan hasn't fought anyone in the top 10 of the division, and there's a reason why, it's his chin! He has been knocked down by: Craig Watson - 33% KO ratio Rachid Drilzane - 4%...lmao Willie Limmond - 24% Michael Gomez 52% Breidis Prescott - Multiple times - 58% Julio Diaz - 58% Danny Garcia - Multiple times - 57% He had one single fight vs Maidana in which is somehow managed to stay vertical, despite stumbling around for most of like a drunken idiot. Then again Maidana couldn't even KO Victor Ortiz either, who also has a Glass Jaw. Khan's opposition at 147 since he teamed with Hunter has been downright embarrassing and his 2nd best win next to Maidana just lost to a journeyman. Khan has a Glass Jaw, if he fights any of the top 147 guys like Thurman, Brook, Pac etc he will get KO'd...guaranteed. He just doesn't have the chin for prizefighting at world level.
You guys forgot Rigo, who does more backing up than a Wal Mart warehouse forklift, I know he's hiding it.
You should refrain from including retired fighters on these kinds of lists. Let them rest their glass mandibles in peace.
Defining why someone gets knocked out as having a glass jaw is over-simplistic. Remember when FM knocked out Victor Ortiz while he wasn't looking and not prepared for the blow? Would that punch have knocked him out with his gloves up and his eyes on his opponent? No chance. So in respect of Khan, yes, he is vulnerable, I don't dispute that, but many times he's been sparked it's been due to walking onto counter punches he hasn't seen. Wlad has a suspect chin but learned to keep it out of harm's way. Getting knocked out isn't just down to punch resistance, it's a sign of bad defence too. Khan is way more guilty of walking into hard counters than he is of poor punch resistance. So like I say 'glass jaw' is a bit of a meaningless phrase without context.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Sorry denier, but the only one who doesn't know what a "glass jaw really is" - is YOU. Anybody who denies that AMIR KHAN doesn't have a glass jaw doesn't have a CLUE what a glass jaw is. I suppose you think Fraudley Harrison takes a good punch too, right??atsch
It amazes me that some people on this forum despite all the evidence deny such OBVIOUS Glass Jaws atschatsch
