I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). I have a been into boxing my whole life and it still amazes me the lack of actually scientific background to the conditioning of boxers. i know now some are training smarter but there are alot of guys going through the old school way of training, and it works for them which is great. But i believe there is a gap in the exercise science and boxing performance unlike any other major sport for example every pro NBA, MLB, NFL & NHL team has a CSCS or PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist) on there coaching staff. I would love to the oppourtunity to work closely with talented fighters, and i think others in my boat are the same. If there are any pro fighters or successful amateurs out there, id love to know your current training habits just so i can get a vibe of what the pro's are currently doing. Thanks for the read
