Anyone have any idea how much he made over the course of his career? I really don't see his name brought up consistently alongside, say, Ali's... But I'm sure he made his fair share of money with King and their race to the mythical 100-0.
He made a lot, but was known to spend a lot, and probably King took quite a bit of it too (Chavez sued him for money taken from a cancelled fight or something). Chavez had tax problems in Mexico, that is well known.
