There was a relatively enormous amount of cocksucking for Marquez just off of stopping Casamayor. At one time Marquez was one of the most (over)hyped fighters on this site - until Pacquiao's and Haye's last fights.

Wins over Hatton and a JMM that has'nt previously looked vulnerable and ready to be taken......and there is no question that Pac could be talked about in the same breath with Chavez.

A win over all three, and there is no question Pac would surpass Chavez.

Imo, its highly unlikely it would happen, but I'd give Pac his due if it did.

IMO, There is still ALOT of fighter's that seperate Chavez from Pacquiao
Pac is still somewhere in-between, But he will end as possibly one of them...

Pacman could surpass Chavez in his next few fights, no doubt. It's quality,not quantity that matters.

 

Chavez no question about it. Pacquiao has still a long way to go to even think of being at the same level as Chavez.
A win over PBF and Margarito would do it though.

Agree with everyone who puts Chavez over Pacquiao, for now. But I don't think we've scratched the surface of this kid. He's smart, he's got a brilliant trainer, he's got a healthy work ethic and character, he's already a different fighter than what we saw prior to DeLahoya. Chavez had a clean, effective style, obviously, but Pacquiao is capable of a lot more, he can conceive of a lot more and believe it too, so barring injuries, it's just a matter of time. Gonna be fun.

 

Its a myth that Pac has improved since the last Marquez fight, Diaz is **** & DLH was dead at the weight.

Pacman wont get any better, its all downhill from here for Manny IMO tho he might maintain his current level for another year or so but get better ?.... cant see it.

Chavez is greater than Sanchez who I believe still has an edge over Pacquiao.

 

Id probably have Harada, Pac and Elorde over him. Flash would be a close one, Im still thinking about that.
