Marquez almost faced him a while back but opted for Fedchenko.

Cuenca is the nr contender by the IBF and also their mandatory(last i heard). Peterson said he expects to face him next.

I find it very impressive indeed......that Cuenca could keep his KO's so low.

    I mean, that's only 2 more KO's than me.

    ......in 49 more fights.

Argies are badass even the ones with no punching power. I'm glad he getting the Peterson match, unfortunately what a travesty it'll be when Haymon pays off the judges and robs him of 50-0, just to further someone like Peterson:-(

You're right, but getting KO's is going to help you get fans, and therefore help you get the bigger fights.

Fans want to see big punches and knock outs. That's just the way it is.

Good skills, southpaw. At least Lamont won't make him change his gloves like Maidana had to.

I don't know that it will be a robbery or something you could even argue is one. I don't think Cuenca has much answer for Peterson's body punching.

Lamont is underrated as well, obviously there is no guarantee Cuenca will win, but if its a close fight which it could be, or Cuenca doesn't win every round, he won't get the nod.

Cuenca is nothing special His best win came against Alex de Jesus years ago, and was a big robbery.
