He has the flu and feels he hasn't been able to train. He says he almost lost vs. Vanda because he fought sick. http://www.yucatan.com.mx/20101128/...chavez-jr.-y-cancela-combate-contra-wolak.htm
good...i have a huge party to attend to that night and didnt wanna miss the fight......now i can go in peace haha
I smell bull****. Chavez rather skipped Wolak once so he could face Cotto, and when Cotto said no and Gomez stepped in, there were some rumors of Jr. not being focused. Now Gomez pulls out and Wolak is back in - and Jr. is ill all of the sudden. Give me a break.
:fire By Gabriel F. Cordero Top Rank told Fightnews.com Sunday night that the clash between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Pawel Wolak will go on as scheduled Saturday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The fight seemed to be in trouble when Chavez Jr. himself said hes pulling out due a severe flu-like illness that has curtailed his training. Chavez, trainer Freddie Roach and Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum will explain everything during a conference call on Monday and Wolak will still travel to Los Angeles as planned. Stay tuned
