just watched this fight last night for the first time,wow,i think its just as good as limon-chacon 4,3 knockdowns in the first 3 rounds,non-stop action throughout capped off with a bloody chacon coming back to drop and nearly stop boza in round 12. just curious as to how you guys scored it,i gave it to boza edwards by a couple of points but the judges had it chacon by 115-113 twice and 117-111!! is this fight considered to be a controversial decison. awesome fight regardless though.
............It is indeed a great fight, and the first time I scored it I had it for Boza by two points. I scored it again and had it a draw. Then I scored it once for Chacon by a point. Finally I just said "**** it, great fight." :smoke
I thought Bobby won the fight fairly clearly, although I recognize that I am very much in the minority with my opinion. Boza was landing a lot of leather but Bobby did land a lot of very accurate counters throughout the fight while laying on the ropes, he wasn`t just sitting there idle getting the tar beaten out of him most of the night. I`ll say this, had the fight been scheduled for fifteen rounds instead of twelve Boza wouldn`t have heard the final bell, his legs were completely gone by the end of the fight. Ironic considering that in their first meeting it was Bobby who ran out of gas, either way it was a great fight and thats all that matters, like sal said **** it and just sit back and enjoy the fight.
