It would be a great fight but Joe isn't gonna take the fight. Chad by all means looked ****ing incredible on Saturday.....of ciourse Taver also helped by fighting a very inactive and lackluster fight, but you could see the outstanding speed, vast arsenal of punches and tremendous reflexes....not to mention his skill is pretty top notch. He reminded me of a prime Roy Jones....the same Roy jones that Joe didn't want to fight in his prime...so I guess Joe wouldn't want to fight a prime Dawson although right now I can't say how good he is compared to greats like Hop, JOnes or Toney....we'll have to see how he does against a very LIVE and competitive foe like he faced with Johson.
Yeah isn't Dawson the second coming? I think he'd KO jesus in the 7th, Lacy all over again. Watch the Johnson the fight.. what?
Dawson isn't even worthy of a fight with Joe, hardly anybody even went to see Dawson vs Tarver. Dawson couldn't sell tickets to his own mother even though i think Dawson would win a UD it doesn't mean he deserves a fight, Joe will retire unless Pavlik wins, then he'll take that fight.
Won't happen. The Pavlik fight makes much more sense from every aspect should Joe and Pavlik both win.
Get over it fella he didn't. My god those sour grapes last a long time eh? hopkins won about 2 rounds
Dawson=Lacy. Calzaghe has a way of tiring out big punchers. it's called moving out of the way. That's where most of his success has been over the years. Dawson wouldn't have the ring craft. Calzaghe might slap but i imagine that volume of punches will mark up the face just as much as one solid punch. not to mention how disorientating it must be. You can all feel free to slate calzaghe but as all you mayweather nuthuggers used to proffess "skills pay the bills".
:rofl You clown.....let's not get carried away here......I saw the Johnson fight and Dawson didn't look good...Johnson did. What impressed me with Chad on Saturday had nothing to do with his preformance against Glenn....it had to do with what was clearly visible in there against Tarver. I'm not saying right now he's the "next" Roy Jones...all I'm saying is he has the gifts that a "Roy Jones Jr." was working with early in his boxing career!
