A few big fights coming up, and this one has snuck under the radar a bit imo.

I'd love to see this somehow, hopefully Japan are big on their boxing and have it showing somewhere.

Anyway, I think Dawson has some incredible tools, and at times he's a delight to watch when he lets them go. He certainly has what it takes to blow Tarver away, but Tarver has a lot of experience and ring maturity whereas Dawson is still pretty much a pup.

Tarver isnt as bad as many make him out to be, and is certainly capable of winning the mind battle in the ring, whether or not that can win him the fight remains to be seen, but we shall find out...

I believe this is the start of a new stage in Dawson's career. I was happy that they didn't try and rush him after his impressive win against Adamek, he went along at a decent pace while mastering a few learning curves along the way.
The Johnson fight was apparently a bit of a hurdle, and one that looks like it's given Tarver confidence that he can beat him, because Tarver wanted none of him before it.

Anyway, I'm gunna say Dawson takes this one out via UD by about 4 points. :good

im looking forward to this, ill go with dawson, young strong guy, good speed and reflexes, but he doesnt use his height and reach to its full advantage, i hope he does against tarver.

tarver beat woods pretty easy, but some say woods was ill.

saw a bit of dawson vs glen, glen has a ****in weird style imo,and his punch output was high, i think unless tarver really lets his hands go, he will lose a UD.

    No idea who wins this.

Tarver is a strange fellow to follow, he can fight **** one night then turn it all around the next.

Very true, Tarver is so hot and cold. I expect Dawson to win a wide UD with maybe a scare or two along the way. There was a photo of the two on the esb homepage the other day and Dawson just looked so cool and relaxed, I don't think Tarver's mind games will work this time.

Dawson should roll past him nicely. Expecting further improvement from Chad each time he fights now. Struggling against Johnson will hold him in good stead and I can't see Tarver walking through his punches like Johnson did. Tarver's best chance is to test Chad's shaky chin but I honestly don't think he has the power to hurt him.

Tarver has really good power. If he hits Chad on the Chin he will know it.

Bad choice of words by me. What I should have said was I think Tarvers timing and speed are fading and even if he does manage to hurt Dawson I don't think he'll have the finishing capabilities to get the KO.

Tarver has some good wins and the fights he lost are no shame.

Interesting fight....hard to say as Dawson looks strong.....maybe Dawson close UD.
