Doesnt matter. Ward would school Dawson at any weight. Dawson is good and i like him n respect his skills but Ward is gonna pick him apart n make him look silly.
Dawson agreed to those terms ..I agree it was kind of stupid but it should still be respected considering who he's fighting.
Sound post, this is an awesome fight and the butthurt Euros dismiss it because Ward beat the **** out of Kesslar and Froch. Both are legit Pound for Pound fighters and there's no reason to hate on either guy or this fight. Props to both and this is going to be a helluva fight. I favor Dawson slightly, because in his mind he has more to prove but it could go either way.
From the August 2012 issue of Fighting Fit magazine.. "I go into training camp at 175-180lbs. I have to put on weight, I cannot miss any meals or I get down to 170-172lbs. I thought this was the right time for me to go down to 168lbs before those guys think to come up. I need to be a little more disciplined about what I eat, getting on a strict diet. I don't diet at all right now." -Chad Dawson Can we end this **** about Chad being disadvantaged at Super Middle? He's fought at super middle before as well. It was his idea ffs.
Actually a friend of his was fighting at super middle for the Olympics so he moved up to Light Heavy so his friend would have a chance. Funny how people claim dumb shits without knowing anything.
I couldn't agree more, two prime P4P talents going at it. Props to both men for making this happen. I'm really looking forward to the fight and still haven't decided who I'm picking. It will be really interesting to see how Ward will deal with Dawson's style since he's never fought anyone like Dawson before. While Dawson has fought Hopkins who Ward resembles. This makes for an interesting matchup to say the least.
