Chad Dawson already 178lbs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so ampted for this fight...Gonna be a hell of a fight...Dawson has the tools to beat Ward if he's focused and ready for a tough...I really need to do my homework before I can actually come up with a clear winner...They're both top notch fighters and this is pretty much a pickem fight.

As of now I would favor Ward by a narrow decision.

 

Dawson became a top 10 P4P boxer when he beat Hopkins:deal He was also one before he lost to Pascal and he was #3 P4P when he lost to Pascal.:deal

 

I haven't been this excited since Bute Froch !

 

Beating a 50 year old does not make you a P4P'er when you just lost to a crude guy like Pascal. If you're going by Ring rankings, they're a joke.

 

fighters have off nights......would you seriously pick Pascal in a rematch based on how Chad was coming back after giving the fight away? Fact is that Pascal is a very tough athletic dude, he' s a high output guy and a damn good fighter and one that will beat anyones ass if they're not on the top of their game which Chad clearly wasn't, he didn't even have an official trainer. Either way we know that win or lose Dawson vs Pascal is next (provided Pascal beats Cloud which I see him having no toruble doing). I'd bet my house that Chad beats Pascal convincingly this time.

Plus you gotta remember B-Hop was still highly ranked and beat Pascal twice (robbed once) before the Dawson fight and Dawson easily beat B-Hop. His easy win over B-Hop coupled with his career before the Pascal loss where he was ranked #3 p4p make it totally fair that he is currently top 10 p4p. Plus looking at his skillset, he's just got that p4p skill level and talent that people like Froch who have the resume and warrior mentality just don't posses. Not to mention for a fighterunder 30 his resume is actually one of the best in the sport.

 

Now, I don't have to type the same thing. He's got no less than good power but it's been up against too many guys who are nightmares to try and put away. It makes his power hard to peg exactly, for me. But, it's no less than good.

 

Does anyone think that Dawson will be faster at this weight ?

 

You mean the same Pascal who got a draw against Hopkins? The same Pascal who went to war with Froch in a FOTY candidate? Pascal isn't garbage like you make him out to be. Not to mention Dawson is the only man to beat Hopkins clearly since RJJ did in the 90s.:deal
