Good fighter. He will run into Tony Bellew one day though and retire from boxing permanantly as a result.
@ :25 he trades a little and lands the right hook while slipping Johnson's left hook with his shoulder. More gems to be seen watching Dawson. He's really skilled I forgot how technical he can be.
Was that really so impressive? It's the basic defensive maneuver in that position. The fact that he was able to pull it off doesn't equate to him being a "ring genius" by any means, rather that he shows moments of technical competence. He shows just as many that aren't so much so. Not hating, by the way, just saying you guys are kind of blowing it out of proportion. A full thread for that? Really?
The thing is defense is overlooked nowadays and most fighters rely on brawns instead of brains so when they see vids like this it helps to truly appreciate the "sweet science" and the ability to hit and not hit because it's rare especially in up and comers. This video would be highly ignored if most or every fighter showed great technical abilities. I think a thread like this is better than another Pac-May threadbarf). Plus Dawson needs the attention he's a very good fighter with great potential.
