Chad will dust his 2nd grandpa in a row. Just too fast, period. Glen has zero chance in this one. I'm almost embarrased Chad has to go through this.

I think Glen's still too one dimensional to pull the upset off though. If Dawson keeps him turning and firing off the jab and working at range, I don't think Glen could set quick enough to establish himself and land. If Chad fights a smart fight, it shouldn't be that close- I'll admit I'm factoring in Dawson fighting smarter than he did the first time around.

The X factor in my mind is whether Chad will remain stationary for too long and/or try to go toe to toe, at which point Glen can score with the right hand like he did so frequently in their first bout. Fortunately for Dawson Glen hasn't been a KO puncher for a long, long time, but he could land enough to take his fair share of rounds just like the first bout.

Chad's a more seasoned fighter now...I'd like to see him take the next step and learn from the mistakes he made in the first fight. If he doesn't look at least as good, I'll have to question what his ceiling could be in terms of being an elite fighter.

Why? The cards are lined up for Dawson to put in a decisive performance- the age factor's even more in his favor, he's more experienced now, and Glen almost assuredly won't have anything new that Chad didn't see the first time around.

Johnson is a tough customer, but I do think Dawson will beat him more clearly this time around. Glen is getting older, Dawson is in his prime, or close to it.

    I miss Roy!!!

people fail to recognize how hard Tarver trained for that rematch. He put himself in the best shape of his life for Dawson-Tarver II, he just couldn't beat him. There is no reason Glen Johnson should be able to beat him

Tarver is good in rematches, but couldn't beat Dawson.... Makes you wonder what a prime Jones would have done with him. Dawson isn't as fast or as powerful as a prime Jones..... Tarver would have been schooled. Im still bitter about Jones not getting ahold of Tarver earlier, which would have happened if Tarver didn't get his ass kicked by Harding.:yep

This fights outcome depends heavily on how Dawson prepares. He needs to study the film of the first fight and really develop a committed strategy for this one.

Dawson is a good tactical fighter, in that within a fight he can quickly find what works and what is effective. At the same time though, I feel he coasts on this talent and doesnt strategize. Against Tarver, both times he got comfortable scoring with combos, and then would coast, not firing punches, and Tarver would be able to come forward.

Obviously Tarver wasnt effective, but Johnson would immediately take advantage of those opportunities. And Johnson strikes me as being much better prepared this time around against Dawson. He will study the tape, know what worked and what didnt, and go into the fight with a Plan A, B, and C.

Dawson loves to coast through rounds. I think he could possibly give away rounds if trys to dance around Johnson. Johnson could be given the benefit of the doubt if he is the more aggressive fighter. Dawson has had the problem of not taking the fight to his opponent and fighting reactionary. This is just another thing Johnson could capitalize on.

I think Chad should have a much easier go this time around. He knows now what he can and cant do vs Johnson. He knows if he tries to mix it up he'll be in trouble and if he moves and boxes he'll have a huge advantage.

    Chad UD 8-4 or 9-3

I don't think so Dawson have more experience now and Jhonson is way more older and inactive than the last time they fought, so i expect a easy win this time, but i hope Glen can pull it out.

Is very dificult to ko Jhonson, much less if He is fighting a light hitting guy.
