People forget Dawson is chinny. He was buzzed by Pascal 2 times and hurt another 2 times, If Dawson is overly aggressive, he could be the one ending up ktfo. If he learned anything from the Pascal - Hopkins fight, he will go to the body alot more... he will certainly not go all out.

Please, Hopkins first because he's older and the sooner the fight is the more meaningful it will be. Then, Dawson. I'm a Pascal fan, but I'm sure he'll lose his belt next year.

I honestly think Pascal will never look as good as he has in the past again after being mentally scarred by the horrible lesson he was taught saturday night

Why didnt he want to engage though? Did he feel Pascals power and he just didnt want to? It almost seemed like that. Pascal is pretty fast and his power is good too. Engaging with him is dangerous as Hopkins showed.

I think if Dawson goes to the body early he has a better shot. I honestly dont think Dawson beats him though. Hopkins is just levels above Dawson and fought a great gameplan.

    Hopkins is a legend.
Dawson well he is just a prospect.

Wtf? So just cause Hopkins is old means Shaw should just let Hopkins gets his rematch first before Dawson?

Shaw knows damn well that if Hopkins face Pascal first in the rematch that if Hopkins wins, he will never give Dawson a shot at the title. The only way maybe if Dawson face Pascal first in the rematch in which if Dawson wins then Hopkins must face him if Hopkins wants to make history. Or unless Hopkins face a paper champion Cloud.

American level plodder, you ****ing knob? Dawson was in the P4P conversation before the Pascal tilt.

In any prospective rematch, I suspect that Dawson wins relatively easily.

And if you are a Brit, kindly go **** yourself. You idiots are the kings og overhyping your fighters.

See the Khan can be competitive with Floyd talk.

Ahhh... you're a ****ing Canuck. I should have known.

Tell you what, if Pascal KOs Dawson in the rematch, I'll never post again.

If he doesn't, you hit the skids for six months.

Put up or shut up, Maple Leaf.

I guess I can go with your point to some degree, but some seem to be forgetting that Pascal ****ing sucks and his "greatest" win is a technical decision, in which he was on the verge of getting stopped, just saying.

It appeared he just couldn't find his timing. Lets be honest, Pascal fights at an unusual rhythm which obviously confused Dawson for most of the fight. He has become too accustomed to keeping fighters at the end of his jabs forcing them to out-jab him then breaking them down technically. So Dawson forces them to jab, then maybe a 1-2 which he can slip and counter, but Pascal instead rushed in pawing his jab and flurried a 4-5 combination and move away.

Dawson will adapt and hopefully his team comes in with a new plan, whereas Pascal will just be Pascal. Compare his first and second fights against Tarver and Johnson, and he is far more comfortable in the rematches.

I agree that Hopkins at this point in his career is still a level above Dawson, however at this stage Dawson has the ability to finish off the opponent that Hopkins does not have.
