    there is a lot of people that are talented behind the keyboard and never even been on a streetfight that post dumb **** but I do agree with everything you said. right now wasn't the time maybe tomorrow it'll be a different outcome

    How did he quit? I only say the end of the fight on youtube. But it seemed to me the KD came after two hits behind the ear and the dude stood up to continue the fight while Smooger waved him of because he was staggering. Which I believe as a devastating puncher as Ward was and with Dawson seemed not extremely affected by the KD the referee should had at least let him back into the fight for a few exchanges to see how he reacts.

    Dawson told Smoger he didn't want to continue. He actually asked for the fight to be waved off, instead of going out on his shield. Ortiz got mauled for the same thing, even by Max Kellerman. Dawson shouldn't get a pass either. :deal:-(

    Ward surprised me with the heavy hits tonight. And he surprised Dawson, too. But Dawson tried, there is just simply nothing to do against Andre Ward. Why would Dawson continue? Why worsen his injuries? He had no way to win, it was absolute dominance from the beginning to the end... I feel sorry for Dawson. He's a good fighter who now looks bad due to fighting the best fighter. Respect to both men and respect to Dawson for quitting instead of risking his health. Swallowing your pride is good. Like Mufasa did when he ran through the many bulls or something to save Simba, ultimately sacrificing his life in the proces.
