Jeff Lacy lol. That man beat no one. He should've quit, maybe he would've salvaged his career from that ass whooping that RIP his boxing future.

I can't agree with that logic. Ward's belts were on the line, and when Dawson was knocked down he was up at the count of two. It's not like he was out for the count.

Boxing history is full of last round one punch equalisers. Dawson could have chosen to fight on in the slim hope of landing a home run punch, but he bowed out because he's a quitter. He is no different from Victor Ortiz.

Find it pretty funny that Dawson and Miranda used each other as sparring partners for their respective fights. Both of them are the very definition of fighters with talent in abundance, and yet completely fold like lawnchairs under adversity.

Very good point, there seems so many fighters out there these days that cannot fight in adversity, that are great when things are going well and then fold like a deck of cards when they have to show some backbone, prime examples being roy jones, zab judah, tommy morrison, vladimir klitchsko, jermaine taylor, chad dawson, victor ortiz.

The mental make up of a fighter is crucial. Ward has the champion mentality while Dawson doesn't. He is simply not willing to dig down deep.

Don't pick on the guy. I think he showed quite a bit of heart, but he was taking a beating. I was relieved when he quit.

I can understand if you question Dawson he just doesn't seem to have that "dig deep" factor and the fight against Pascal and giving away rds to old ass Tarver show that. TBF he was pushed against Johnson in the first but fought well despite Glen being a fossil and a fighter he should've whooped. Not his fault he's hyped up he can only fight who's in front of him and time and time again he faces anyone.

He fought Ward at his weight in his hometown and only quit because he was getting beatdown. Pretty gutsy if you asked me. I would love to see these critics face these kind of challenges against a PFP top fighter. ****, give them a prime Julian Jackson and I'd bet they'd be too covered in **** and scared to even come out of the dressing room. Shame in most of you "boxing fans" when you know damn well you're just dickriders and idiotic critics.

Yup. I think it's pretty obvious by now that Dawson has NO CHIN. NONE.

He's a KO waiting to happen - again. Nothing more.
