Chad Dawson: " Me Vs Paul Williams @ 168 Could Make Sense Someday"

All I know is, Chad looked huge against Tarver. I wanna see Chad vs. Diaconu and Henry. But, I want to see him fight Glencoffe again before any of those fights.

 

because he wants to prove his skills against 'Elite' fighters.

I personally think both Joe C (wouldn't allow Dawson to rest as he does, tough as Hell and adaptable) and B-Hop (I just trust in Hopkins' ability to devise a plan, some personal bias no doubt as I'm a huge 'Nard fan) would beat him.

But Dawson is the best out of the 'current' crop. Those who say he ducked Diaconu (spelling?) are hilarious, I think Dawson would beat him hands down.

His win over Adamek is looking increasingly impressive.

 

In two to three years, this has the potential to be a great fight. Imagine if Williams beats Wright and Pavlik and Dawson beats Calzaghe and then moves down to 168 and beats one of the top fighters there. Right now, the fight seems like a farce. However, in a few years, it could be the fight that everyone is clamoring for.

Also note the source is from Paul Williams' blog. They probably just want to keep his name in the news, and feed fighters like Dawson these kinds of questions.

 

Well at least Chad wouldn't be fighting a senior citizen again. In a couple years Williams will KO Chad.

A Vegas insider on another board said Chad entered camp for the Johnson fight barely above 170. SMW is doable in the near future but in two plus years, not so sure (because he did look noticeably bigger vs Tarver as opposed to vs Harding or vs Adamek)
