Dawson is naturally much bigger then Ward and must have a weak chin to be knocked down so many times by Ward!

Think Kessler and Froch would KO Dawson to..
    what do you think?

Dawsons best win is over old old old grandpa Hopkins! :think

This looks like the Bute of LHW...

Just a thought.Perhaps he was seriously drained at the weight?
    I may be wrong though.

A good fighter, but probably a bit of both (weight-drained and over-rated)

    This.

Tell Ward to go to middleweght and fight Chavez/Martinez...he may win but won't perform.

You certainly are not wrong. He was indeed ****ed at the weight.

I think saying Dawson was always overrated because of last night is as unfair as it is to suggest that Ward deserves all the props he is getting for beating anything more than a drained fighter.

    Yup.

That said, I thought it was an out of this world performance, because I don't think that Chad Dawson is or has been overrated at all.

It had been 6+ years since super middleweight. I don't like how people are dismissing that while they've acknowledged a similar time frame for Oscar's return to welterweight for the Pac fight, for popular example.

Dawsons' resume at 175 is great, with the biggest names possible of his time:
Hopkins - 47 years old, ATG, 175 lineal king, thoroughest victory against ever
Adamek - entered undefeated, future fringe top 10 CW all time and HW contender, very one sided
Johnson X2 - 39 and 41 years old, likely future HOF, competitive matches
Tarver X2 - 40 years old, likely future HOF
Diaconu - long ranked mid-tier top 10 LHW, in Diaconu's homefield

  9. He is incredibly overrated. A HBO hypejob who got a gift against journeyman plodder Johnson, was thrashed by blown-up Pascal, and had his Glass Jaw and Heart shattered by feather-fisted Ward.

Come on Tarver, Johnson and Hopkins is almost 130 years together!
way over the top and reduced to harmless rabbits...

    who is next? Yoda?? :bbb

Dawson looked a little weight drained but would still have lost to Ward, and lets be realistic Dawson is a very good fighter but yeah he is overrated,he lost to Pascal and his best wins are over Hopkins and Tarver, two old fighters..
