lol nm what I said about Dawson being in Vegas, I forgot Manny's gym is in Detroit. Stewart is a great trainer, but keep in mind Dawson has won 29 fights without him. According to an interview with Iceman John Scully, it was Scully who taught Dawson to use his left hand more and to attack the body.

Most likely Dawson is going to train with Scully or some local Connecticut trainer. I still think Mayweather Sr was best with Dawson, but Iceman can make Dawson fight to his potential too.

Bro Nazeem would be a great fit for Chad. LOL. Too bad that isn't happening.

  3. Dawson has no Chin and no heart.

    Dawson is uncoachable.

The jury was out when the relationship with Joy Sr. fell through (since that dude's ****ing nuts; it could have been him), but the picture is starting to come into focus now...

Absolutely, he is a phenomenal trainer but he ruined JT, abandoned the jab, wild overhand rights, tried to make him a puncher...but he's not that. Again Manny is great but different strokes for different folks.

I thought Manny would have been a good fit had he kept training him that said this is horrible timing.

With or without Steward Bhops was winning this anyways. Just shows how Dawson is taking this for granted. I can understand an emergency of some sort, but if Dawson isnt willing to make the sacrifice in a fight of this magnitude this makes me question Chads dedication.

This is a good chance for him to get back with Floyd Sr. though

I still think Dawson beats him, nothing but respect for both guys but I just think Dawson handles him.

Whether it was Manny or Chad, someone's sh*t was f*cked up against Diacanu. Dawson looked terrible. He's not Tommy Hearns. He can't sit back and then rock opponents with the overhand right all night. But I think Dawson's issues are in his mind. The Dawson that beat Johnson in their second fight should beat anyone at 175.

    Bad news for Dawson.

Great person and trainer, Steward does not say any bad word about Dawson.

Manny was all wrong for Chad and I am glad he dimissed him. Dawyon has shown in some os his earlier fights that he has the tools to beat B Hop, what he dosent have is the drive. He needs a motivater. Top rate trainers are serious people when they are honing a fighters skills and they dont have time to baby sit. If Dawson had somebody like the guy Pacs got or like Ali had ( Bundenee Brown), I think it would serve him very well.:bbb:bbb:bbb

I don't buy into that Steward was trying to change Chad, boxers who train with Steward says that he let them be self, so he can hopefully expect an ass whopping from Bhop

Steward isn't a good trainer.... good move by Dawson, I think he'll dominate now as he'll feel comfortable just fighting how he feels like instead of trying to stick to an old mans game plan that was designed for someone else.
