JC should take the fight, a 90-10 split and then shut the mouth of that over-rated big mouth. Dawson lost to Glen Johnson, watch the fight again if you aren't sure.

I agree that JC should fight a live fighter instead of guys like RJJ who are washed up and Dawson is probably the number one pick right now, since Pavlik was shown incapable above 160 pounds. However, you have to give JC some credit. Bika was a live fighter, albeit B level. Hopkins is an ATG but he can only hit and hold. JC was given no chance against Lacy, probably by bums like you, but he destroyed him, ending his career in the process.

At times, JC has taken the easy option in his career, but not the whole time.

He should fight Glen Johnson if he had real balls, but he won't because there is no money. He will beat Tarver very easily and that might be the best risk reward option. Dawson, who can't hurt JC, will have a very difficult fight but he is very much faster than anyone JC has fought recently, including RJJ, who WAS fast.
