He's somewhere in my top fifteen. A convincing win against Johnson and the fight with Diacanu, along with wins over maybe Cloud and Clinton Woods would be just outstanding.

Is that right? So you like the flat footed conventional guy with a 5 inch height disadvantage over the vastly more proven and seemingly far more dynamic southpaw? Interesting..

Agreed. There are obvious agendas at play here. The Calzaghe fans and British nationalists are dumbing down on Dawson as much as they've been taking semen shots from Kessler. The media just thinks he's painfully boring as a person. That tends to be overwhelming in terms of how they consider a fighter for whatever reason.

Cloud has the tools to KO Dawson but I think Chad is too quick and skilled if they were to fight soon. Cloud is impressive but got tagged alot by Gonzalez who wasnt shot but was aging.

    I kinda agree.

Don't get me wrong, I like Dawson, but he isn't doing the division any favours.

The division got officially ****ed back when Tarver threw it all away to go on a gay merry-go-round with Johnson and Jones. That gay merry-go-round lasted several years. Fighters like Adamek did what they could but the division was pretty much ****ed.

We can only guess . . . depends if he keeps winning and depending on his oppositions.

Already top 10 P4P to me. If his name was Chad Gonzalez and had 3 losses 4 draws and bled out his ass after every fight I guarantee you'd he'd be Ring top 10 P4P :yep

He'll be in the medium portion of the p4p list, he keeps winning fights and I expect him to be even more succesful than he already is.

True, the division got ruined much because of that, and people didn't buy into it. I think there is a real chance that Dawson will soon be seen as someone who doesn't fight for real, but rather wants to jump on the old-man trains and fight Tarver and Johnson over and over. That would be such a waste of very good talent.

He needs to hope Kessler (or another of the SMWs) gets to super stardom and unifies SMW - because then Kessler (and probably Bute, Froch, Ward etc. would too) will come to LHW.

That will take at least 18 months though and probably more. So what else? Well, there is Tarver again... :/ but I guess a better option if SMW is still undecided, would be to go to CW and possibly HW. He ios big and fast and should be able to beat everyone at CW (a rematch with Adamek would probably be more competitive than last time though) and would even have a decent shot at everyone except the Klitschoes at HW.
