I honestly don't think Nard was in a bad way at all at the time of injuring his shoulder. He looked like he beginning to figure out Chad's rhythm and timing. I thought Nard won the first round chad looked like he was slightly ahead in round 2 but I don't think there was any reason to think Nard quit. Not sure if his injury was fake or not but to say he quit based on how well Chad was doing is some bull ****. Chad wasn't doing anything....neither was Nard but at least Nard was finding his shots...chad landed one hook that was good.

You don't understand the politics of boxing. The build up for the fight, the money involved, and trying to get the networks to advertise the fight can be mentally exhausting. You fail to mention that Hopkins said he didn't want a rematch either, and than flip flopped and has now says he wants to fight Dawson. That video was last week, both fighters has said in their twitter accounts they are willing to fight again. You can never take a boxer for their word.

His twitter account was private for a while, he just opened it to the public. Trust me many boxing fans know who Chad Dawson is. It's not like Hopkins has anything interesting to say in his account.

All the Dawson bashing is ridiculous, it's not Dawson's fault that Hopkins prefers to quit. If Hopkins continued fighting this wouldn't be an issue, although I will admit the ref did a bad job, should have been an NC.
