dont worry it will never happen dawson is simply a nobody. besides calzaghe is too young for dawson, they way he loves fighting with guys twice his age any one would think he works in a elderly home.

Nonsense. Calzaghe is the man to beat, he is the #1 or #2 p4p. Losing to him wouldnt hurt Dawson, especially if it was close. Beating him would catapult Dawson to the p4p top 3 and gain him recognition. Everything to gain, not much to lose.

 

So they're basically beating the same kind of opponents.

 

Fight prolly won't happen cuz Dawson is a relative no namer...


However, fighting calzaghe would be the best thing for dawson's career. If he beats calzaghe (a man american boxing fans desperately want to be beaten), he'll have a first class ticket to boxing superstardom.



Dawson should try and get this fight....The $ he makes in this fight should be irrelevant to him. If an undefeated young fighter beats the #1 p4p guy who is undefeated and one of best boxers of past 15 years and arguably in his prime, the skies the limit.

I think Calzaghe would do to Dawson what Hopkins did to Pavlik, if he were as motivated. Of course, he isn't and couldn't be. Hopkins thought he had a lot to prove against Pavlik. Calzaghe has nothing to prove against Dawson. But if they were to fight, Calzaghe would beat him; I am very confident in predicting that.
