Yes, the difference being Joe is 37 and beating Legends from his OWN Era in Bhop and RJJ.

And Chad is 26 and beating fighters from a different Era in Johnson and Tarver.

    Thats a big Difference.

why can't the yanks take it on the chin, like jones, and admitt that the euro fighters are over taking the yank fighters.
a past his prime jones just got bitchslapped of a past his prime calzaghe, kessler would beat all your SM/LH weights, never mind calzaghe, chad dawson would get the same treatment off calzaghe as pavlik got off your very own hopkins,****ed over good and proper

yeah, because thats what boxers do.....dawson is scared of another man in the ring that weighs the same as him

i think its fair to say that calzaghe would fight dawson in chads back yard, get knocked down in the 1st, get up, adapt to chads style, then box his head off for 12 rounds, before america finds another bum to call joe out.

thats how these things work isn't it?

People made the same kind of thread after Pavlik was taken to school by Hopkins...

...but yeah, before the fight, most people did not make these kind of threads, even if some thought Pavlik was silly to fight Hopkins.

exactly, everytime a shot or overrated fighter gets schooled people assume that the person who schooled him is unstoppable

    when Dawson beat Tarver

    "DAWSONS the p4p BEST FIGHTER!!"

it's like...**** he beat a guy who realistically had no chance of beating him, only a clown or hater though he had a chance, of course he schooled him

    when Hopkins beat Pavlik

    "HOPKINS is TOP 10 ATG!!!!!"

.....what??, he beat a kid who was overrated just because he had a some KO's and p4p fighter on his list, but realistically he had no real chance against hop to begin with

    and now this month it's

"CALZAGHES THE BEST FIGHTER IN THE WORLD, ATG, WOUld BEAT PRIME JONES!!!!"

anyone who thought Roy had a chance to begin with is a ****ing idiot......Jones aint done **** in the past half decade to make you think he should even be in the same ring as Calzaghe, this was a nobrainer just like the other 2 fights

so people, you should catch on to the rythm....when you put a great fighter in the ring with someone who's not

HE IS GONNA SCHOOL HIM.......but that dosen't make him P4P #1 or an top10 ATG

i give all credit to Dawson, Hop, and Calz but........they're all great fighters but, they were all in the ring with lesser opponents, any logical person who's not blided by dickriding or hating should of been able to tell who was gonna win, and just how bad the schooling was gonna be

so let's keep the hype realistic here folks......because this is how hype jobs are made, when a fighter knocks over another fighter who realistically never had a shot to begin with

True...he's faster, he moves much better, he throws some great combinations...his chin is worse, his heart is not as good (few people have the heart Lacy has!), his power is less and his decision-making is worse.

Is he better, all-round? Probably, but that doesn't mean he'd beat Calzaghe.
