So you are telling me that based purely on the fact that Dawson is fighting Ring mag #2 instead of Ring mag #8, he is a ducker? :huh

Dawson just turned 26 and after Tarver, he will have fought (and beat) the best light heavyweights in the world. :good

    **** Diaconu

Nope. **** that p*ssy Chad Dawson. He isn't sh*t but a scared ***** running as fast as he can from a Romanian living in Montreal. What a f*cking joke.

Here, Exe-lose-tioner, you and Ring Mag Axe can read this and kiss Dicanou's ass:

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=17400&more=1

Dawson's just another PBF *****-boy who turned down his highest payday ever, just like Pretty Pus did at the time with Margo.

Chad Dawson isn't sh*t but a guy who ran like a ***** multiple times from a man whom the Ring Mag says Dawson's better than and that would bring "it's all about the money" CD a career-high payday.

**** Chad Dawson. He's a piece of sh*t, glass jawed, p*ssy-ass *****. I don't want to hear SH*T about this punk who was clowned by Johnson until he fights Dicanou. People give Margo a hard time -- well he FOUGHT Williams.

When Dawson fights Dicanou, let me know. Until then, kid isn't sh*t. Don't even come with this garbage 'best at 175 or under' nonsense. You're just making yourself look stupid to anyone who knows anything about boxing.

Dawson is just another Roy Jones, Floyd Gayfeather cherrypicking jackass fraud. Save the hype for the fools.

    Look who's talking, "**** Dicanou."

Look, I know the deal with the Dawson jockriding, and I'm tired of the mentality behind it. That article puts everything into perspective. If people want to start the 'next great thing' with Dawson, then they're going to have to expect that people like me and the guy who wrote the article are going to say 'uh-uh.'

Dawson's talented, but he's got miles to go to reach the status of a Calzaghe or Pac.

Again, Margo fought Williams. Let Dawson fight Dicanou or even Kessler and then we can talk about how 'great' he is. The guy just went life and death with a 40 year old man. Let's just say I'm holding off on the HOF ceremony.

I think Dawson is a lot of what's wrong with the sport. I'm tired of the blatant cherrypickers.

Im more annoyed at Diaconus fans. and besides, dawson wasnt the one who pulled out a little while before their fight complaining of an injury.

I'm sure Dicanou's fans can be a pain in the butt, too.

Last time I checked, Dicanou wasn't stalking Jose Sulliman to beg the WBC president not to have to fight Chad Dawson, either.

Guys get hurt, it happens. But Chad has repeatedly shown he wants nothing to do with Dicanou. And that's a strike against him, if he is to be regarded as the top guy in the weight class, or p4p.

Chad seems like an ok guy. Not my favorite but not a bad guy. The fans drive me crazy is all. Just like the Dicanou fans make you mad.

Im a Dawson fan and have high hopes for his future as i don't think he has come close to reaching his potential yet, but there are definitely a number of fighters who would have a very good shot at beating him.

Dawson hasn't really beaten an elite fighter yet and he struggled with Johnson (although i do believe he won the fight).

Calzaghe would outpoint him quite comfortably at this point unless he shows that he has become shot overnight in his next fight, Dawson is too green for a smart fighter like Calzaghe.

Kessler - Dawson would be interesting as i don't think Dawson could hurt Mikkel but he has the fluidity and awkward punching like a Calzaghe (though to a lesser extent) to give Kesslers robotic style trouble. However i think Kessler has the speed and timing to hit Dawson far too regularly at this point for Dawson to get the win.

Dawson will need to destroy Tarver to show that he is at the top of LHW, as even old man Hopkins managed to whoop his arse only a year ago. Hopkins too would have a very good crack at beating Dawson.

I want to see a steady progression in the quality of opponents Dawson faces, he is only young and there is no shame in avoiding the most dangerous threats between 160-175 (i think these weight divisions are going to mean roughly nothing in the next 24 months, fighters will be moving all over the shop between MW and LHW).

Lets make some noise for the Dawson! :happy

In all seriousness though, this is a big test for him, hopefully he comes through. We all know he has the tools to do it, he just has to show that he has the ring maturity to do it against Tarver.

    I think he'll come through.
