You can just ball this guy's opinion up and throw him in the gobbage lol. Yeah, I spelled garbage, gobbage!
Are you crazy ? how was he soundly beaten he easily won 6 rounds of the fight there is no way he could of lost the fight. Calling Dawson hype and then building up Kessler just does not make sense does it? because Dawson has beaten the current Undisputed CW champ and he is the current LHW champ, he has also beaten Tarver,Harding and Mendoza a guy that gave Jeff Lacy a beating albeit Jeff won a close decison. By comparison who has Kessler beaten? Mundine,Andrade atsch
No, even if it was a victory (IMO it was not) it was very controversial and competitive and without trying to convince all the Dawson-nuthuggers to accept this, let's 1. listen to the boos Dawson received 2. watch carefully Dawson's face during Johnson's words in the post-fight interview. That tells you everything. I had scored the fight for Glen (or perhaps even), but Johnson must get the opportunity again.
Man thats like saying listen to Enzo Calzgahe screaming at Joe Calzgahe in the corner, because he thought he was losing the fight. Take a look at Joe's face when they annouce the decison against Hopkins. Dawson won 6 rounds of that fight there is no way he could of lostatsch
Lets compare resumes Dawson Harding Adamek Johnson Tarver Kessler Mudine Beyer Andrande Dawson has a pretty good resume for a fighter that is 26 years of age. Now compare that resume to Kessler's who is three years older and has more fights under his belt. So if anyone is overrated on this forum its Kessler. Keep in mind that Kessler people (not necessarily Kessler himself) have made claims that a fight with Dawson is not really in their plans, considering they feel Dawson is really a cruiserweight :huh. We can say that he gave Calzaghe a helluva fight all we want (and he did) but the fact remains he still lost, a loss is not a win and its not like its a debatable loss. Kessler won rounds sure but it was not controversial. Kessler and his people seem to show little or no intentions of taking that next step post Calzaghe as shown by declining a fight with Miranda last year which I do not understand because I feel Kessler would be him easily and it would have given him more exposure particularly in the U.S. I'm guess shotime or HBO would have taken such a fight based on his Calzaghe performance. He did however call out Hopkins but whats funny about that is Calzaghe is the one who suggested to Kessler about a possible fight. Shouldn't Kessler people be telling him to do such a thing? And if you cannot get a Hopkins fight is Kessler going to call out guys like Taylor? Bute? or Froch?
I know what you mean such as Dawson and Kessler being more of a straight line fighter, unlike Calzaghe and Hopkins who can fight in angles. Although Dawson did improve his footwork against Tarver (circling around his opponent). Dawson still has a lot to learn.
.....thats not a fact, infact thats the complete opposite, i'd call it pure bull**** what makes you think this?, please explain......
