    Dawson beats this guy easily.. You all are hyping this Diaconu dude up too much.. I've seen him fight and he's gonna get an ass whippin.

    MUCH enhanced by beating a guy that is pretty much unknown in the US? Maybe to hard hard core boxing fans yeah but nobody really knows Diaconu.. Dawson will beat this guy easily.

    They also both happened against the best 2 fighters on his resume and just over the past 14 months. Chad SHOULD win this fight and he's made me a believer in his skills- but make no mistake, his chin is his weakness.

    This is the sort of unnecessary risk Adamek took v Dawson and he got dominated. Hopefully this will garner Dawson some real respect.

    I want to see Dawson keep improving with Senior. I think there is more in him.

    Soon someone needs to step up and face Dawson.

    Yeah, you're right! I meant much enhanced to hard core boxing fans (some) of whom are unconvinced how well Dawson could handle Diaconu's style! True, Diaconu is no American show pony.

    Thanks to all those who participated in our FightNews Canada poll, "Who will be Canada's next world champion". The final tallies reflect that Canadian boxing fans see Adrian Diaconu (30%) as the next world champion by the slimmest of margins over Lucian Bute (25%) while Joachim Alcine (23%) ran a close third. However, with Alcine's title victory Saturday night in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Ti-Joa become Canada's next WORLD champion.

    I like Diaconu, he has a easy to watch style and is all round solid.

    There are some awesome matchups for Adrian at lt heavy that would be great fights.

    But I feel Dawson is to good. His style is a hard one to tackle and I think its going to take someone real good to knock him off.

    Why no love for Dawson? Didn't Dawson just handily batter and defeat the highly regarded Adamek who was avoided like the plague? I've never seen Diaconu box but this sounds like the pre fight talk leading up to the Adamek fight. Adamek was a proven tough customer meanwhile Diaconu has proven himself against whom? I'll take Dawson by late TKO.

    I will be amongst the first to ejaculate my love for Dawson once he steps up and bites the Diaconu bullet. And if he beats Diaconu (not as done and dusted as some here think:yep ) Dawson will become one of my favourites!
