I already said what I think, Dawson TKO 10, or somewhere around there.

Diaconu shuts down late and Dawson will be pounding on him. I'm taking Dawson by KO on a money bet also, easy money.

Its either Dawson UD or Diaconu KO

    Diaconu is a P4P powerwise.

I don't think it's so much the power as much as the aim. He CAN hit the target with a big swing!

Somehow KOing china chinned Rico Hoye means you can KO Dawson!

I picked Diaconu KO 2 in that fight by the way, was no surprise there considering feather fisted Woods stopped Rico Hoye.

You know I respect your opinion! Everyone here does! You are probably right. I am just glad for Dawson if he accepts this fight because it's a good chance to shine, and I am happy for Adrian because he will be able to go full out and really enjoy himself and put on a show to the best of his abilities, and if he loses having fought bravely, NO PROBLEM; his fans will still enjoy his spirit and direct style. :happy

Two top 10 Lightheavyweights going at it, both 24-0. Should be a great fight. :happy

Dawson is rated higher and is the champ, Diaconu is his mandatory and is due before the year is up, so they will square off next.

I think Dawson will pick up yet another big win over a top contender and make a solid case for himself as a P4P level fighter.

And yes, the fight is not official yet, but Adrian is Dawson's mandatory after KOing Hoye, and is due by the end of October. Of course, if the two sides sign for Novemeber that is not a problem. If anything they will end up going to purse bids for this one. Dawson would not give up his belt, unless it meant a mega-money fight with someone like Roy Jones.

Let's hope it doesn't turn into a Peter-Maskaev like scenario though, my faith in the WBC upholding their rules has been slipping as of late. :-((

You got it! Two undefeated top ten fighters going at it, each with a solid amateur pedigree and pop in his fists, what's not to be excited about?? :bbb

Only one of the two has P4P level skills though. :deal

I agree he is at best in the bottom of the top ten overall but, I'm only talking about pure power, he is probably the hardest hitter at 175, with both hands.

I didnt discovered him in his fight with Hoye, Ive been following his career since the begining, and he always been a murderer puncher, he became a better boxer lately, what makes him a top 10 at 175.
