Chad Dawson v Bernard Hopkins is a go!!!

Styles make fights ,as much as it hurts me to say it DAWSON WILL BEAT HOPKINS . Dont let that lackluster performance in chads last fight fool you ,keep in mind he was coming off a layoff and now he has Stewart on his side . I know they will come with a hell of a gameplan and execute it .

 

Dawson is going to have an ademek type performance. Pascal was not a good boxer and was so competitive with B-hop just b/c of his youth and reflexes. Dawson is a good boxer. Dawson wins a clear UD and shows you Hopkins age.

 

Hopkins will show his age this fight, Dawson will win at least 9 rounds.

 

dawson didnt impress me at all recently, im with hopkins to win a close decision, he is too smart.

 

He might be smart but that still didn't help him against ****ing Taylor, he won't be able to do anything at his age against someone that can actually box.

 

B-Hop is gonna tag him with the counter straight right all night long :deal

 

ill be damned if im gonna start counting out B-hop after he just vanquished Pascal. Dawson is still to hittable and not smart enough to deal with B-hop.

 

i dont like dawson but he's pretty slick and bhop cannot handle slickness.

 

The Dawson of the Diaconu fight loses to Hopkins IMO.

 

I think this is pretty much Dawson's fight to lose. If he puts it all together and goes into the fight looking to actually beat Hopkins I think he will. He is too young, athletic, and skilled at this point for Hopkins. But, if Dawson comes in and looks like he's just going through the motions and looks only half iterested like he sometimes does then Hopkins will beat him. This is a big time match up but I'm not sure how much action it will produce. Dawson by decision.

Dawson is so dumb the mental games by Hopkins won't even work. Dawson will win but get robbed because he is so bad for boxing. 116-112 Dawson but Judges will have it 114-113 115-113 114-114 MD for BHOP

 

All depends on who Chad Dawson trains with.

But assuming he comes in the shape of his life and is determined to win, he'll win a UD. Hopkins should've fought Bute instead.

 

Hopkins just doesn't know when to quit. He should have retired. There is nothing more for him to achieve.
